What is Greyquill?

Is it a person? A way of life? A secret plot to steal all quills in existence and charge exorbitant prices for any poor movie studio or person who needs one? Nay, it is a creative writing site and forum! What does one do at a creative writing forum? Improve one's writing skills, give or get constructive criticism on stories, poems, or any other kind of writing, lament the fact that Big Bad Writer's Block is keeping you from your muse,role playing games where people at least try to be descriptive and spell things correctly, or maybe have discussions about life because that is what writing is in the end, isn't it? Writing is about thoughts, ideas, life and everything that goes with it. There is much one can do. The only requirements for membership are these:

* 1. lyke omg do nawt rite in teh chatspeek1111!!!
* (Translation: Please, don't use excessive chatspeak or l33t or whatever it is called and try your best at spelling things and using punctuation. ) 2. You're open minded.
* 3.You want to become a better writer.
* 4. You're not a spammer or internet troll. (They're scary.)
* 5. You agree all writing posted belongs to their respective writers and that stealing is EVIL. (Yes, I used all caps for the last word.)
* 6. Have a sense of humor.

This is for all you writers out there! Writing is usually a personal activity--it's usually just you and a sheet of paper. That can be a bit lonely. Greyquill is a creative writing forum it's intention is a place where creative writers can come together get feedback, inspiration, and possibly vent about things related to writing other creative endeavors.
